The play follows Stanley Webber, a former piano player, who lodges with Meg and Petey in their seaside boarding house. This is targeted by two mysterious men, Goldberg and McCann.
Set in the mid-20th century, the play explores themes of identity, paranoia and the breakdown of reality as Stanley’s past and mental state are unravelled, ultimately leading to a chaotic Birthday party and his abduction.
