Come and join Peter and Debbie Lindel as they struggle to expel their brassy, Trump-loving houseguest, Elsa, from their family home. Overt British politeness clashes with unfiltered American hubris. Whilst Elsa seems determined to ‘Make the Lindels Great Again’, Peter and Debbie are much more concerned that she may be a serial killer.
A riotous comedy full of wit, traditional British humour and good manners.
If this sounds like fun, I will see you at the auditions in the Theatre Lounge.

Below is a brief guide to the parts involved. The age guides are ‘rough ballpark’, allowing flexibility where needed, with credibility in the role being more important.
Cast of 7 includes 3 Women and 4 Men of a variety of ages including 2 teenage roles.
Large Roles
Peter Lindel – A middle-class, “Guardian-reading” Englishman who is ditheringly negative and obsessed with avoiding confrontation. He is wound up like a spring, often finding his life complicated by his inability to say “no”. (Age 40+)
Debbie Lindel – Peter’s practical and philosophical wife. She is the self-styled “uptight” member of the family, tasked with keeping the household grounded and protecting her children from social embarrassment or mortal peril. (Age 40+)
Elsa Krakowski – Bizarrely likeable loud American houseguest from hell or maybe just from Denver, Colorado. A force of nature who ignores social boundaries. (Age 50+)
Medium Roles
Alex Lindel – Peter & Debbie’s older teenage son. Initially a sullen, apathetic and annoying teen who transforms into a well-behaved model young man. (16+)
Rosie Lindel – The couple’s teenage daughter. A self-absorbed and antagonistic teen, at odds with her mother, who like her brother goes on a transformation journey. (16+)
The Neighbour – A dull, passive-aggressive man obsessed with suburban boundary disputes. He is so impossibly boring that Peter can never remember his name or anything he says. (Age 50+)
Other Roles
PC Junkin – The local plod who seems more concerned with eating than catching criminals, affable, but not the sharpest tool in the box. (Age 35–65)
If any or all of this sounds fun, then please contact the director on 07813 290559 or e-mail bellatrix1@tiscali.co.uk for more information; or simply turn up at any of the above auditions. Scripts, once available, can be obtained from either the director or from the theatre box office.
