HAHA Harborough

Date and time

Sat 27th April at 8:00pm

Ha Ha Harborough returns on April 27th with the fabulous NOEL JAMES Headlining! For the last few years, Welshman Noel has been performing throughout the UK, appearing at all the major clubs and festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Edinburgh, to name but a few.

Before becoming a comedian, Noel tried his hand at teaching, without much success. He taught English as a foreign language: he taught it as Welsh! His act is highly original and he reached the Semi-Finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2018. His Act has been described as surreal, bizarre, absurd and intelligent. ‘Liberates the lunatic side to our personalities – brilliantly!’ Time Out – ‘Absolutely Hilarious!’ HTV & Wales On Sunday. ‘Stands out like a droll giant in a comedy land of trite dwarfs’. The Independent.

Opening Act – KEVIN DANIEL Kevin has been performing stand up since June of 2019. With over 200 gigs under his belt, he has quickly established himself as one of the hottest new acts on the comedy scene. His commanding stage presence, exquisite storytelling and quips aplenty always leave audiences wanting more. His warm and honest storytelling style deals with the daily trials and tribulations of a man trying to survive life unscathed.

‘Kevin is probably one of the hottest properties on the Midlands circuit right now. Having started only a few years ago he’s stormed his way onto the upper echelons of the circuit with his outrageous storytelling techniques that will leave you wanting more,’ Doorstep Comedy (Adam O’Reardon).

‘I’d heard great things about Kevin before I booked him and he didn’t disappoint. A hilarious new act with all the confidence and assurance of an act with years of experience. A great fit for any line up,’ Giggleshack (Colin Havey)

British Comedian of the Year 2022 – Semi-Finalist, Midlands Comedy Breakthrough Act of The Year 2021 – Finalist, West Yorkshire New Comedian of The Year 2021 – Finalist, Midlands Comedy New Act of the Year 2019 – Finalist

Followed By – Stevie Gray A cheeky and versatile comedian, Stevie Gray’s act combines jokes, music, news stories and audience participation to create an up-tempo energy in the room. Stevie had been performing for over 10 years and is a very popular act indeed. His career highlights so far have been headlining the Bognor Regis Comedy Festival, headlining a show at the Woking Comedy Festival, headlining and compering the Comedy Tent at the Blissfields music festival and being the opening comedy act at Guilfest 2012. Stevie also supported Terry Alderton on his National Tour Warm up.

TV Credits include FHM’s stand-up hero and an advert for Sky Sports/Carlsberg. Radio Credits include BBC 2’s new comedy awards and writing credits include jokes for NUTS magazine, Loaded magazine and FHM.

Time and again, audiences are left beaming after seeing Stevie, not only from his fantastic comedy, but also from the warmth and genuine joy he shares with everyone who meets him. ‘ Like watching sunshine’ – Notts Comedy Review
