Our spacious theatre lounge is available for hire by community groups for classes, meetings and events. This includes the use of our well equipped kitchen. The lounge is also occasionally available for hire as a small studio theatre (maximum 50 seats).

The whole theatre is available for occasional visiting productions, however there are no available dates for the remainder of the current season (until August 2025). We also run Gala nights for local charities and we welcome applications to join our waiting list for these events.

Full Theatre Hire

Includes full use of auditorium, lounge and dressing rooms for the time period shown, plus services of Front of House Manager and two stewards, plus bar service (profits retained by MHDS).
