Sun 15th February 2026 at 2:00pm

The Royal Ballet’s resident Choreographer, Wayne McGregor’s experimental ballet triptych inspired by the gene-defying writings of Virginia Woolf, set to the original score by Max Richter is recorded live.

One of the most ground breaking writers of the 20th century, Virginia Woolf defied literary conventions to depict rich inner worlds – her heightened startling and poignant reality moving away from traditional narrative storytelling this ballet portrays the stream of consciousness in a collage of themes from Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, and The Waves. It captures the heart of Virginia Woolf’s unique artistic spirit. Woolf Works was created for the Royal Ballet in 2015 and was the winner of Olivier and Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards.
