Open Auditions – Beyond Reasonable Doubt by Jeffrey Archer
Wed 6th Oct 2021 to Tue 12th Oct 2021
The action of the play takes place at the Old Bailey in London where Sir David Metcalfe QC is charged with the murder of his wife. Act 1 ends just as the verdict is about to be given. The second half takes us back in time to the fateful night of the crime, when the audience can see what really happened. There is a short third act which completes the circle. The structure of the play means that there are several small parts in Act 1 which give a chance for people who want this kind of opportunity without too many lines to learn and fewer rehearsals than usual.
