Coronavirus – A Message From The Chairman

March 12th, 2020

Dear Patrons

This is being issued to you to let you know what our arrangements are regarding the Coronavirus situation.

Harborough Theatre will carry on as normal unless notified by the Government that we should not.
We will follow Government guidelines unless we are notified that someone carrying the virus has been within the theatre, in which case we would take specialist advice.

We will err on the side of caution but see no reason to panic now.

In the event of a play being cancelled because of virus regulations ticket holders will be reimbursed as follows:

Season ticket holders will be credited with one seventh of the cost of their season ticket for each play that is cancelled. This credit will be deducted from the cost of next season’s Season Ticket – or refunded at the end of the season if not renewing next season.
For tickets bought online and paid by credit card, the card will be credited back.
For tickets purchased at the box office these will be exchanged for a voucher for a future production either by visiting the office between 9.30 and 12.30 Monday to Saturday or by post.

As an amateur theatre we do not keep large sums of money on site and all cheques need two signatures, which would make cash refunds very difficult. We trust you will understand.

If you have any other query please contact Owen Brooks, our Theatre Administrator, on 01858 463673 or owen.brooks@mhds.org.uk

And finally, we hope that none of the above is necessary.

John Foreman
Chairman, MHDS
