Harborough Theatre & Coronavirus

March 16th 2020

Dear Patron

The trustees of The Harborough Theatre have been monitoring the ongoing situation regarding Coronavirus.

In the last few days the situation seems to have got worse and the Trustees of the theatre have now taken the decision that the only way we can guarantee the safety of our members and customers is to close the theatre until further notice.

The two Octagon presentations on Tuesday 17th and Friday 20th March will be allowed to go ahead but the theatre will then close until it is deemed safe to re-open.

We will review the situation at the end of April – but based on the latest information it may well be next September before we can resume normal activities.

For any customer with tickets for Skylight these can be exchanged for vouchers for a later production up to Saturday 28th March when the office will be closed for a month. We will be updating the position at the end of April.

We apologise for any inconvenience but feel this is the only appropriate action to take at the present time and feel sure you will understand.

John Foreman

Chairman of Trustees
