The Importance of Being Earnest
Possibly the best loved play in the English Language, this comedy of manners has been delighting audiences for well over a hundred years and has recently enjoyed another smash hit revival in the West End.
When Gwendolen tells Jack that she cannot marry a man who is not called Earnest, and her mother, Lady Bracknell, adds that his lack of social standing is an immovable barrier, Jack has some problems to solve – at once!
John Ragg makes his Harborough Theatre directing debut, having directed many plays at the Leicester Little Theatre and at other venues such as the world-famous Minack Theatre in Cornwall.
