Pink Mist – Auditions
Pink Mist by Owen Sheers, directed by Christine Richardson, auditions to be held on 19th and 26th July in the theatre lounge. Playing dates 15th – 19th November 2016.
Who wants to play war? Pink Mist tells the story of three young Bristol men deployed to Afghanistan, returning to the women in their lives, who must now share the physical and psychological after shocks of their service. Arthur, Hads and Taff find their journey home is their greatest battle. Pink Mist is inspired by 30 interviews with returned servicemen and first staged at the Bristol Old Vic in 2015. The cast will need to be able to play 18-20 year olds, with the exception of Sarah, Hads’ mother, who is in her late 30’s early 40’s. All cast members will be on stage at all times and will be participating in scenes even where they do not have lines. – Male – Arthur, Taff and Hads. Female – Gwen, Arthur’s girlfriend, Lisa, Taff’s wife, and Sarah, Hads’ mother.
Auditions are open to anyone, but if you are given a part or get involved in the production you will need to become a member of Market Harborough Drama Society.
There will also be a workshop on 16th July on Physical Theatre, as this play requires a lot of movement. Anyone interested should contact Christine on 07876859925 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
