When New York singer/songwriter Nell Bryden appears in Harborough with her band, there will be an extra person on stage that the audience cannot see – her own baby!. Radio 2 favourite Nell will be more than seven months pregnant with her baby daughter when she appears at Harborough Theatre on Saturday, October 4.
Nell is now living in this country and has appeared on big stages all over the UK supporting both Jools Holland and Gary Barlow. She has performed at more than 100 shows in the last two years, on mainland Europe and the USA, as well as in Britain, including V Festival and Hyde Park.
Her latest album, Wayfarer, was Radio Two’s album of the week at the end of July, and she is hosting her own Radio Two show on August 25, where she will play music from her “home town” of Greenwich village in New York City. She has also been asked by the station’s DJ Chris Evans to play at both of this summer’s Car Fest events.
It is not often that such a significant name wants to play in Market Harborough in such an intimate setting, and is a performance that should not be missed!
