Market Harborough Movie Makers
MHDS welcomes The Market Harborough Movie Makers for their Annual Film Show on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th June, both shows starting at 7.45pm.
Tickets, £5, are on sale from 25th May from Albery Tyson Estate Agent, Church Square, Market Harborough.
Films to be shown are:
“The Welland Valley Vineyard” – covering the growing of the vines, picking, crushing and pressing of grapes, and collecting the juice, fermentation and bottling. Also the annual wine tasting competition.
“The Cinemas of Market Harborough” – a documentary recalling the three cinemas of the town.
“The Changing Face of Market Harborough – 2001” – being shown again after 15 years (by popular request).
Also, two films made by the Market Harborough Cine Society (now renamed “Movie Makers”) 50 years ago
“The building of The Fairfield Road C of E School” and the only fiction film, made by the society, shot at various locations in the town
