Abelard and Heloise
In honour of St. Valentine’s Day, MHDS presents a Studio Production of the Dramatic Reading of this Correspondence for the Stage, by Ronald Duncan, of the Famous Letters between Abelard and Heloise, great medieval scholars and lovers, separated by tragic circumstances. Directed by Sarah Clarke, with musical interludes from Opera Minima under the direction of Gillian Leftwich.
Sunday 12th February at 2.30 pm and Tuesday 14th February at 7.45 pm.
Tickets £10 which will include a drink, or ice cream or coffee for the evening performance and tea or coffee and cake will be served for the Matinee. Tickets will be on sale from 17th January, from the Theatre Box Office on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9.30-11.30 am, or via our online sales.
Season tickets do not apply for studio performances. There are only 50 seats available for each performance. Wheelchair users are welcome, but you must to give us notice of your need when you book a ticket, so that a space can be made for you.
