Play of the Year -Awards

NANDA-The East Midlands Play of the Year Competition. Congratulations to all of our casts and crews who helped with the three plays put forward for the 2017-18 season’s competition.  This year MHDS members won the following: 

The NANDA Trophy for Best Supporting Actress – Kay Carpenter for Mrs Frank in the Diary of Anne Frank.   

Special mentions went to: Cameron Smith for Best Youth Performance as Peter Vaan Daan in the Diary of Anne Frank,  Jess O’Brien for Best Newcomer as Anne Frank in the Diary of Anne Frank, Kay Carpenter for Best Actress as Jeanette in the Quality of Life,  Joff Brown for Best Actor as Neil in The Quality of Life, and Mark Bodicoat  for Best Director for The Quality of Life.
